Never Odd or Even: How a Palindrome Tells a Story

Never Odd or Even

“Never Odd or Even” by Cheryl Finfrock

 noun \ˈpa-lən-ˌdrōm\

a word, phrase, or number that reads the same backward or forward

I like a good palindrome, backwards is forwards and forwards is backwards. They rock back and forth like an old rocking chair. Palindromes are not always words, sometimes sentences. The character in this painting, “Never Odd or Even”, is waving hello or goodbye?  Perhaps both, a visual acting out of that back and forth palindrome.

A poignant coming and going.
